Our volunteers work 12 months a year to make sure the Christmas season is full of cheer for northland families and individuals. And there is always room for more helpers. Join us!BureauThe bureau is responsible for registering and scheduling clients by completing and processing all required paperwork. The Bureau operates from October through December.HomeboundWe deliver to over 300 clients each year. Volunteers are needed to assemble food boxes, wrap gifts and deliver to the individuals.WarehouseItems are stored in the warehouse. Volunteers are needed for picking up and delivering items to the warehouse, sorting, labeling and boxing items. Workdays are held monthly.Food DrivesWe encourage schools, churches, businesses, and organizations to have food drives. We strive to have all items ofor the food boxes donated.Clean-UpThe store is disassembled after the last client leaves on Thursday evening.Store VolunteersIndividuals are needed to escort clients through the store, label bags, and load cars.Food FloorTrucks need to be unloaded and shelves restocked throughout the days and evenings of the store.YouthAlthough our youth are not allowed in the store during the hours of operation (for liability reasons), there are many opportunities for scouts, youth groups, school groups, and individuals needing community service hours to volunteer.
